Dr Josse is an expert in many fields with a life time of experience in areas such as: General medical practice, forensic pathology and medicine, police custody and detention issues— including death in police custody investigations— causes, mechanism and interpretation of injuries, child/adult sexual assault, sexual assault and bruising, asthma, drug testing/drug abuse as a clinical evidence, alcohol technical defences, breath test interpretation, medical aspects of drink and driving and drugs/substance abuse and driving, medical competence and negligence.

Late Chairman, Hon. secretary and member, Joint Committee on Postgraduate Training for General Practice.

President Association of Police Surgeons (name changed to Association of Forensic Physicians) 1998-2000.

Principal Forensic Medical Examiner with the Metropolitan Police, becoming elected chairman of all the Principals until disbandment.
