Now updated and expanded, this course is the successor to one run for many years at the University of Glasgow, and covers a broad range of topics from the fields of forensic science, forensic medicine, and the law. Enhance your forensic medical knowledge with this part-time, 30-week course hosted by the Centre for Forensic Science at Strathclyde. The course is open to anyone with a relevant University degree or professional qualification; no previous medical, scientific, or legal training is necessary.
Satisfactory completion of the full course will allow the participant to sit for the Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences (DipFMS), an examination set by the Society of Apothecaries in London. Lectures will rotate among the instruction blocks over the entire 30-week duration.
